Given the barbeque we just had in the ward, I thought I would share some little known barbecue trivia. Many will know that barbacoa was shortened to BBQ in 1327 when Mark Twain said to the queen of Spain that they had “Better Be Quick”. What fewer people will know, is that he was in a hurry because he’d gotten a telegram saying his Sacrament Program had arrived a day early and he wanted to get home and read it as soon as possible.
