I was working on my retranslation of the New Testament when I found a scribal error that might be of interest to you. In the King James Version, Matthew 5:6 reads:

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

I think a better translation would be

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after Sacrament Meeting Programs: for they shall be filled.

I understand why the scribes would have made such an error—Sacrament Meeting Programs hadn’t been invented yet. But that just shows that the verses are prophetic as well!
