People once thought that the earth was flat, but we now know that it’s round. Much less well known is that Sacrament Programs are not flat. They aren’t round, however, but rather flat-looking projections of complicated high-dimensional manifolds into our 4-dimensional space time. It’s thought that if we ever understood the true shape of a Sacrament Program we would immediately be translated. Some scholars speculate that this is how the Buddha became enlightened.
