The scientific consensus is that the universe began with “The Big Uncrumpling” in which the Last Sacrament Program of the previous universe was uncrumpled to form the fabric of our universe. Although it’s impossible to test, there are other cosmologists who believe that every time a sacrament program is crumpled and thrown away, that it spontaneously creates a new universe. This is called the “Many Programs” interpretation of quantum sacrament mechanics.

Of course, there are a few “Flat Sacramenters” who believe that a sacrament program doesn’t have to be crumpled to give rise to a new universe. But the evidence clearly does not support this.
