You’ve no doubt heard the theory that the Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” is a reference to LSD. That is true, but what most people don’t understand is that it’s a reference to Liturgicus Sacramentalis Didacticus (Latin for Sacrament Program) rather than Lysergic acid Diethylamide. The Beatles experimented with all types of mind altering substances and the one they found most potent was reading Sacrament Programs. It’s not clear why it never caught on outside the Beatles, but some think it’s because the Ringo was afraid there would be too much demand for Sacrament Programs if other people learned about their psychedelic powers, and that there would be none left for the Beatles. Regardless of the reason, I’m including one in this email. Please use it to expand your mind.
