If you’ve been a member of the church for a few years, you’ve probably wondered why we have Sacrament Programs for all ward Sacrament meetings, and even some stake conferences, but never one for General Conference. There’s a simple reason for that. The power of a Sacrament Program is directly proportional to the number of people who read it, so a Program for General Conference would be viewed by so many people that its power would be too great to allow it to fall into the wrong hands. In fact, such programs were classified as weapons of mass destruction by the Treaty of Versailles. Even some stakes conferences (for larger and more righteous stakes) don’t have a program since the power is too great. Please do your part to prevent Sacrament Programs from falling into the wrong hands by not forwarding this email or sharing with friends.
