The beginning of the year is a dangerous time for those of us working with Sacrament Programs. It is at this point that church meetings often change times. For example, we are meeting at 9:00 this week and next week we’ll meet at 10:30. That means that we’ll have an entire hour and half during the week with no sacrament program coverage. The hour and a half in which we can receive no guidance on what happened during the previous sacrament meeting causes widespread confusion among the populace at large–not just members. This hour and a half is usually scheduled for early on January first, which leads many to believe that the confusion they feel (from lack of sacrament program) is due to being hungover after staying up and partying for New Year’s. Please be safe and don’t make any big decisions this coming week.
