Those were the original words to Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous song in Treasure Island. The book started as a didactic work in which Jim Hawkins learns that the real treasure is the gospel of Christ. If you read it closely, you can still see signs of its original purpose. The Black Spot which was famously written on a page from a bible, in the original story, was written on a sacrament program.
